RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Credit Suisse, which is based in Switzerland and has a major operation in RTP, will soon have a new chief executive officer as well as a new top executive for its U.S. group.
Oswald Grubel, will retire as CEO on May 4, the company said Thursday. Brady Dougan was named to replace him. Dougan is a 17-year veteran with the company. He currently is CEO of investment banking.
Also, Credit Suisse named Robert Shafir as its CEO for the Americas. He has worked at Lehman Brothers for more than 15 years.
