ATLANTA – Internap, a provider of advanced routing solutions over the Internet, is expanding its data center in Seattle.
Internap will lease an additional 20,000 square feet. It also has an option for an additional 30,000 square feet. The expansion is expected to be completed by June.
The move is designed to help Internap meet growing demand for services such as its Internap Performance IP product. The service includes 10 gigabit per second “handoff” capacity between customers that are deploying next-generation video and rich media applications.
Internap operates eight managed data facilities.
