CHARLOTTE, N.C. – RealEstate.com is rolling out a new, augmented portal for home buyers.

The redesigned site includes additional and refined search engine features, more mapping capabilities and additional listing details as well as other information. A “contact me now” feature is designed to quickly link prospective buyers with real estate agents.

The portal is based on results gathered from beta testing in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas market.

RealEstate.com is part of LendingTree, which is based in Charlotte.

"The vast majority of people who use the Internet for real estate are looking for listings, and we’ve set out to transform RealEstate.com into the superior site for online home searches," said Kimberly Gorsuch-Bradbury, senior vice president and general manager of RealEstate.com. "Our new site is a great step forward, but we’re just getting started. It’s all part of our strategy to help consumers get the knowledge and edge they need when buying or selling in today’s real estate market."
