LADSON, S.C. – Force Protection and General Dynamics Land Systems have established a four-member board of directors for its joint venture to produce high-tech military vehicles.

The joint venture, called Force Dynamics, recently received a test and evaluation contract from the U.S. Marines covering production of four vehicles. They are to be designed to be resistant to mines and explosives.

Force Protection is based just outside Charleston, S.C.

Board members from Force Protection are: Raymond Pollard, chief operating officer, and Damon Walsh, vice president for program management. Pollard will chair the board. General Dynamics board members are Mark Roualet, senior vice president for ground combat systems, and Susan Young, director of production, finance and estimating.

A General Dynamics executive, Mark Savarese, is the program director for the joint venture.
