RALEIGH, N.C. – Alignent Software recently donated software worth more than $1 million to researchers at the North Carolina State University College of textiles.

The Vision Strategist software will be used for development work in nonwoven textiles. Nonwovens are used in hygiene, medical, transportation and building applications.

NCSU is home to the Nonwovens Cooperative Research Center where researchers, faculty and students work with industry professionals. Participants in the center include Corning, NASA, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Motorola and the U.S. military. Alignent software has been used for technology development and product plans.
