Southeast BIO To Host Investor Forum in Pinehurst

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Southeast BIO will host its annual SEBIO Investor Forum on Nov. 7-8 in Pinehurst, N.C.

The conference will focus on investment opportunities and emerging trends in the life science and biotech industries.

Fred Hutchinson of the Hutchinson Law Group, Garheng Kong, a partner at venture capital firm Intersouth partners, and Cat Lineberry, president of Lineberry Research Associates are the co-chairs for the event. The Lineberry organization is now part of Constella Group.

SEBIO works with life science companies across the region to grow the industry. It was founded in 1999.

Its executive director, Anne Wein, is a former executive with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
