RALEIGH, N.C. – A colon prep product licensed by Salix Pharmaceuticals has received a U.S. patent that will be in force through 2024.
The product, Moviprep, is owned by Norgine, a European pharmaceutical firm.
Moviprep is used by patients preparing for colonoscopy exams.
Salix is based in Raleigh.
