FunCom Sets Oct. 30 as Release Date for ‘Age of Conan’

DURHAM, N.C. – International gaming company Funcom will release its “Age of Conan – Hyborian Adventures” on Oct. 30.

The massive multiplayer online game is being developed in conjunction with Eidos.

Age of Conan is one of a series of titles being developed as part of the Games for Windows lineup for Windows Vista. It also has received several awards from several companies, including GameSpot, GameSpy and Yahoo.

A PC version will be released first followed by a console version for Xbox 360.
Funcom has a major operation in Durham.
