Overture Networks Expands Advisory Board

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Overture Networks is expanding its advisory board, adding two telecommunications company veterans.

Overture provides converged packet access platforms for communications networks.
Joining the board are Jack Wimmer and Scott Beaudoin.

Wimmer is a former vice president for network architecture and advanced technology at Verizon Business. He also worked at MCI for three decades.

Beaudoin is chief executive officer of Illuminari, a provider of various services related to networks and manufacturing, He was chief technologist and director of strategic network architecture at WilTel before the company was acquired by Level 3 Communications.
