Internap, a provider of networking and routing services, is moving closer to its acquisition of VitalStreams Holdings, which provides audio and video streaming.

The companies said Wednesday that stockholders of both firms have been mailed information about the deal, which is expected to total more than $210 million.

VitalStream (NASDAQ: VSTH) is based in Irvine, Calif.

Internap (NASDAQ: INAP) stockholders will have a special meeting to discuss the merger in Atlanta on Feb. 20.

The combined company would have 450 employees and more than 3,000 customers.
