The AeA, a national trade association representing technology companies, is looking for emerging technology companies to make presentations at its annual venture capital conference.

“This conference is unique in the fact that we choose to showcase entrepreneurial companies that are already generating revenue and are well on the road to success,” said John Glushik, general partner at Intersouth Partners and the AeA Venture Forum co-chair. “This event presents an opportunity for investors to meet with a group of more established entrepreneurs and learn about solid investment opportunities they represent.”

The AeA Venture Forum & Golf Event is set for March 13-14 at the Ritz Lodge at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.

A team of venture capitals will select the 18 firms that will then make presentations to potential investors. Participants in the 2006 event went on to raise more than $18 million.

"This is an amazing opportunity for up and coming technology companies to get in front of some of the most influential investors in the technology arena,” said Steve Nussrallah, general partner at venture firm Noro-Moseley Partners and co-chair of the selection committee.

Executive committee members for the event include representatives from Alston & Bird, Arcapita, ATDC, Aurora Funds, Ballastpoint, Battery Ventures, Core Capital, Crossroads Public Relations, DLA Piper Rudnick, Edwards & Angell, Fastrak, Grotech Capital, HIG Ventures, HLM Venture Partners, Hope-Beckham Inc., Intersouth Partners, Kinetic Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Noro-Moseley Partners, RBC Centura, TD Capital, Trusted Counsel, Turner New Media Investments, Veritas Partners, and World Omni. Other partners supporting this event include the Atlanta Venture Forum, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), the Florida Venture Forum and Cordova Intellimedia Ventures.

First deadline for applications is Jan. 29.

Companies should have revenues between $2-25 million.
