Harry Lightsey, a former state president for BellSouth in South Carolina, is the new senior vice president of legislative and external affairs for the southern region of AT&T.

AT&T recently closed on its acquisition of BellSouth.

In another management move, Ron Frieson, president of BellSouth in Georgia, has resigned to pursue other interests. He has been replaced by Sylvia Anderson. She had been AT&T’s vice president for regulatory affairs in the southern region.

AT&T’s southern region includes the nine states where BellSouth provided service: Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana.
