GREENSBORO, N.C. — Sensory Analytics, a startup focused on precise coating measurement systems for use in manufacturing processes, has received a second U.S. patent for its technology.
Sensory Analytics targets automotive, aerospace, medical and other manufacturing markets.
The latest patent covers applications that enable the measurement of coatings without making contact with the surface or requiring sampling or testing. Sensory Analytics has other patents pending both in the U.S. and overseas.
“The granting of this additional patent reflects our focus on innovation, validates our technology leadership and increases the protection of our intellectual property,” said Greg Frisby, chief executive officer of Sensory Analytics. “We are pleased to further extend the reach of our technologies within automotive, aerospace, medical and other manufacturing segments and to bring additional value to our shareholders.”
Sensory Analytics has developed portable measuring tools, such as SpecMetrix, and proprietary software known as SensorMetric.
