RALEIGH, N.C. — Lisa Hook, chief executive officer of Internet phone service provider SunRocket, will be among the featured speakers at the Southeast Venture Conference 2007.
Hook, a former executive with AOL Broadband and a partner with Brera Capital Partners, has led SunRocket to $80 million in venture funding. The firm closed on $33 million in August and has more than 360 employees.
The Southeast Venture Conference is set for Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary.
Other scheduled speakers include SAS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Goodnight, Motricity CEO Ryan Muerch, Jack Biddle of Novak Biddle Venture Partners, David Aronoff of IDG Ventures and Leslie Alexandre, CEO of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
