RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Quintiles Transnational is expanding its presence in India.
The contract research organization said Tuesday it would build a new laboratory in Mumbai, India. It is scheduled to open before the end of this year and be ready to support clinical trials early next year. Quintiles already has labs in China and Singapore to support its operations in Asia.
Quintiles already employs 675 people in India with offices in Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
