CARY, N.C. — Covelight Systems, a provider of online fraud protection applications and other services, is teaming with a California firm to provide additional capabilities.
Covelight, which is based in Cary, and Coral8, a provider of complex event processing software, will provide an integrated application platform. Its services will include real-time security, performance monitoring, fraud detection, personalization and problem resolution.
“As companies strive to real-time-enable business-critical functions, they are tapping into greater amounts of high-speed, high-volume data,” said Spencer Snedecor, chief executive officer of Covelight. “Our capture-transform-feed (CTF) architecture supplies applications built with the Coral8 (complex event processing) engine with the online and Internet data they need in real-time and in a useable format, enabling applications that drive competitive advantage.”
