Billionaire David Murdock will invest double the amount, or $200 million, he had originally announced in a new biotech venture capital fund, The Charlotte Observer reported Thursday.
The fund is designed to help draw businesses to the North Carolina Research Campus, which Murdock is creating in Kannapolis.
