CHARLOTTE, N.C. — PokerTek can begin selling its automated poker table in Michigan now that the state has granted it regulatory approval.

“This approval allows us to finalize contract negotiations with several commercial casinos in the State of Michigan,” said Lou White, PokerTek’s chief executive officer. “We are very excited about this approval, and are looking forward to receiving additional approvals in other jurisdictions in the coming months.”

PokerTek’s table is called PokerPro.
