CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Peak 10 and Topics Education were the winners in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd annual Entrepreneurial Awards on Thursday night.

Peak 10 provides a wide variety of data hosting and information technology services from centers across the Southeast. The company has exhibited strong growth under Chief Executive Officer Dave Jones, recently adding a second data center in Charlotte and acquiring a company in Nashville, TN.

Peak 10 won in the 21-employee and above category.

Topics Education, the small business winner, was founded in 1995. The company works with clients on education outreach and communications. Its CEO is Phelps Sprinkle.

The Chairman’s Award went to entrepreneur Felix Sabates.

Other finalists in the small business category were: File Vault, Daniel Entertainment Group and SLD Unlimited Marketing.

Sherpa and The Restaurant Group were the other finalists in the larger business category.
