ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The “Carolina Connect” venture capital and entrepreneurial conference coming up in Asheville will feature four workshops designed to help executives turn business plans into reality — or make their businesses better.

The sessions include “I have an idea, now what?”; “Understanding the competitive landscape”; “Planning your business and building your team” and “How to survive in order to thrive”.

The second annual event, set for Sept. 14, is being put on by the Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council, which is part of the economic development group Advantage West.
