RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Eric Nelson, a 20-year veteran of the life science industry, is the new vice president for business development and licensing at Tranzyme Pharma.
Tranzyme is focused on drugs to treat gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases.
Nelson’s most recent position was as assistant vice president for technology licensing at Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories. He earlier had worked as director of business development at Becton Dickinson.
