Telecommunications provider BrightStar Communications has named Rudi Machilek as the firm’s chief information officer. Machilek will oversee installation of multiple-site customers and execute the design, engineering of systems.

Prior to joining BrightStar, Machilek worked in the technology sector for more than 25 years. During this time, he founded two companies, Knowledge Products and Tar Heel Consulting. BrightStar Communications delivers turnkey technology solutions through voice, communications and data applications to improve staff performance and efficiency.

The company provides installation and service for small business key systems, large network PBX systems and small-to large-enterprise combination VoIP networks.
