YOUNGSVILLE, N.C. — Law Enforcement Associates has won orders for under vehicle inspection systems and several hundred explosive detection kits.

LEA has contracted to provide four of the under vehicle inspection systems for use at government facilities in Saudi Arabia and a U.S. Air Force base. The systems are used as a security measure.

The explosive detection kids will be used in Afghanistan by U.S. military forces looking for improvised explosive devices.

“Improvised explosive devices represent a growing threat to both military and civilian personnel in sensitive locations around the world,” said Paul Feldman, president of LEA. “We are proud that our products are being used to mitigate this danger, and we are working hard to further enhance and expand our suite of IED detection tools.”
