NORTH CHARLESTON, N.C. — James McNab, Jr., a founder of four life science companies, is the new executive chairman of the board of directors for Argolyn Bioscience.

McNab is founder and chairman of Curis, a drug discovery company based in Massachusetts. He also founded and chairs eNOS Pharmaceuticials in Massachusetts. McNab founded Sontra Medical and Parker Medical Associates earlier in his career.

McNab graduated from Davidson College and earned an MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Argolyn has two drug candidates nearing clinical development, one for treatment of schizophrenia and the other for pain.
