WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Economic development directors in the Triad have a new website to use in recruiting efforts for life science companies.

Funded by a grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, a team from the Greensboro Center for Innovative Development, the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Piedmont Triad Research Park built www.triadbiotech.com .

The site includes a 3 ½-minute video detailing the region’s strength in life sciences.

“The development of these two new marketing tools will prove valuable to the Piedmont Triad as the biotechnology economic cluster continues to grow.” said Gwyn Riddick, director of the Piedmont Triad office of the Biotechnology Center.

The website is one of 21 strategies the Advisory Committee for Biotechnology in the Piedmont Triad adopted last year to drive biotechnology growth.

The website goes live on July 14.
