ATLANTA, GA. — Time Warner Cable will continue to offer Earthlink’s broadband service to high-speed cable Internet users, the companies announced Thursday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
EarthLink (Nasdaq: ELNK), which is based in Atlanta, and Time Warner Cable have worked together since November of 2000.
“Both our customers and our companies have greatly benefited from offering EarthLink’s high-speed service on Time Warner Cable’s cable systems” said Mike Lunsford, EarthLink’s president for access and voice services. “When consumers have additional choices, everyone wins. Together EarthLink and Time Warner have set a standard for high-speed cable service that we hope other companies will embrace.”
