DURHAM, N.C. — International game developer Funcom is taking its new title “Age of Conan” into beta testing.
External testers are being recruited to work with the title, which will be featured as a showcase title for the new Windows Vista program. The game has already received several awards from gaming sites.
“We have worked hard on ‘Age of Conan’ for more than two years, and it’s great to see that our collective effort has led us to this point,” said Trond Arne Aas, chief executive officer of Funcom. “The game already looks stunning and it’s a lot of fun to play. We are looking forward to include our community, partners and press once we move into the later stages of the beta.”
The game is based on fantasy hero Conan the Barbarian.
