DULUTH, GA. — Concurrent has won the first video on demand commercial contract with a cable TV firm in China.

Concurrent, a provider of set-top and video on demand applications, will work with cable provider Shekou CATV in the provinces of Shenzhen, Shekou and Guangdong provinces. The cable TV firm has some 30,000 digital subscribers and some 10,000 broadband data subscribers.

Shenzhen is located near Hong Kong.
