CARY, N.C. — SAS is introducing a number of new services and applications at its annual customer event in Geneva, Switzerland.
Some 2,000 people are attending the SAS Forum International this week.
SAS is introducing solutions and improvements to human capital management, financial management, strategic performance management, revenue enhancements for telecommunications providers and additional capabilities for banking and insurance companies.
SAS is also discussing deployment of service oriented architectures for all aspects of business intelligence, such as data and analytic services.
In a separate announcement, SAS and Sun Microsystems said a SAS Enterprise Data Integration Server outperformed competitive extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) tools by more than 230 percent. SAS and Sun said they had set a world-record benchmark for data ETL.
