RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Representatives of several Triangle-based video game, simulation and training companies will participate in “Game Night”, a panel discussion from the Council for Entrepreneurial Development.

The May 17 event will take place at the CED’s new headquarters at 100 Capitola Drive in RTP. The program begins at 5:30 PM.

Several companies will also be demonstrating new products.

R. Michael Young, director of Liquid Narrative Group at North Carolina State University, will moderate the panel. Panelists include John Austin, senior vice president of business development and marketing, Emergent Game Technology; Tiffany Barnes, assistant professor, Department of Computer Science, UNC Charlotte; Rett Crocker, director of development, 3Dsolve; Jerry Heneghan, CEO, Virtual Heroes, Inc.; and Mark Rein, vice president, Epic Games.
