NORTHBROOK, Il. — Gerard Jacobs, the chief executive officer, and Benjamin Jennings, the chairman, have resigned their positions with Think Partnership.

The company operates two firms in the Triangle, Market Smart Interactive and Market Smart Advertising.

Market Smart Interactive was known as Websourced until a recent name change.

Scott Mitchell, the president of Think Partnership (Amex: THK), will replace Jacobs on an interim basis, the company said in a statement.
Think Partnership stock closed Friday at $1.84, up a penny. It has a 52-week high of $3.75, a 52-week low of $1.40.

Jacobs led Think Partnership through an aggressive series of acquisitions over the past year.
