YOUNGSVILLE, N.C. — Law Enforcement Associations (Amex: AID) reported a $162,000 profit, or a penny a share, for the quarter ending March 31.

LEA, which provides a variety of surveillance and security products and services, said it had revenues of $2.1 million. LEA lost $141,000 on revenues of $2.4 million for the same quarter in 2005.

“Our profitable results reflect the significant enhancements we have made to our operations during the past year,” said LEA President Paul Feldman. “Higher-margin product sales and improved corporate efficiencies resulted in a quarter-over-quarter bottom-line improvement that was achieved in spite of a slight decrease in revenue over the same periods.”
