MATTHEWS, N.C. — Decision Support Inc., a provider of business intelligence and other information technology services, is merging with ProfIT/CS, an IT solutions provider based in Charlotte.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
ProfIT/CS will operate as a separate division within Decision Support, which is based in Matthews.
“By building our network of professional services, we will be able to better serve our clients,” said Bruce Wilkinson, chief executive officer of Decision Support, which was launched in 1984. “ProfIT/CS brings tremendous depth and breadth of expertise and knowledge to this partnership, and they share our culture of delivering superior customer service. We are very excited about this opportunity to reach more of our area’s small and mid-sized businesses.”
ProfIT/CS, a five-year-old company, was founded by David Griffin.
“Operating within the Decision Support organization gives us a solid foundation to expand our service offerings and allows us to leverage the strong brand recognition that ProfIT/CS has developed over the years,” Griffin said.
