Krishna Nathan, a vice president of research and an expert in handwriting recognition technology, is the keynote speaker for Mi-Co’s Users Days on April 25-26.

Mi-Co, which is based in RTP, develops software applications for mobile data, digital ink and handwriting recognition.

“Research as a partner in innovation is vital in today’s business environment,” Nathan said in a statement. “The increasingly mobile nature of today’s workforce calls for innovation beyond technology and into other areas such as processes and business models.”

Other sessions will include discussions about use of mobile data capture involving Tablet PCs and digital pens.
