EarthLink will utilize services from Level 3 Communications for its national voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service offering.
EarthLink, an Internet Service Provider based in Atlanta, offers telephony service as part of a digital subscriber line (DSL) offering.
Financial terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
Level 3, which is based in Colorado, VoIp features include caller ID, voicemail and three-way calling. The service also will connect EarthLink users to link to traditional telephony and mobile networks for such services as E-911.
