Dietmar Wendt, an executive with IBM, is joining Nortel as president of global services.
Wendt assumes his new position on May 1. He will be responsible for the global services business operation, including financial performance, portfolio development and go-to-market strategies.
Wendt is currently working for IBM in China as vice president of Asia Pacific Information Technology Services Transformation.
