Digiton Corporation, a business consulting firm, and Epley Associates, a public relations agency in Charlotte, have merged, creating a new company called The Catevo Group.

The Catevo Group has also purchased Sideways Creative Branding, a creative, marketing and advertising firm based in Raleigh.

The combined company will be based in Raleigh with offices in Charlotte, Washington DC and London UK.

A spokesperson told WRAL Local Tech Wire that the moerged company forms a “unique business consultancy that brings integrated communications, supply chain management, brand management, technology, research, logistics and creative services under one roof”.

Mitch Javidi is the president and chief executive officer of Catevo Group. He was the founder and CEO of Digiton.

Michael Herman, former CEO of Epley Associates, is executive chairman of the new company.

Aaron Mazze, owner of Sideways, will become part of the merged company’s management team.
