Law firm Kennedy Covington has put in place new leadership for its practices in Raleigh and Research Triangle Park.

Kent Christison is the partner in charge; Curt Brewer serves as the new chair of the business and technology practice; and Mary Beth Johnson will lead the national health law practice.

Christison helped open Kennedy Covington’s office in Raleigh 10 years ago. He focuses on business law, including partnership/LLC law, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, strategic alliances, and finance. Brewer practices general business and corporate law, corporate finance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Johnston concentrates on health law, representing academic medical centers, hospital systems, managed care contracting organizations, long-term care and home care providers.

Kennedy Covington recently moved its Raleigh office into new offices at North Hills and will relocate its RTP office to Keystone Office Park in Durham in May.
