Talecris Biotherapeutics, the company formed a year ago from Bayer Healthcare Biological Products’ Division in RTP and Clayton, is expanding.
Talecris, a provider of biological products, is setting up a Canadian division, Talecris Biotherapeutics, Ltd. The new group will have its headquarters in Toronto and an office in Ottawa.
Talecris, which added some 200 employees over the past year and reported some $1 billion in revenues, said the Canadian operation is the “first achievement” in a global expansion plan.
