Computer giant Lenovo, which has a major operation in the Triangle, is considering listing its stock in U.S. markets, according to a report.

The China Daily reported Friday that Lenovo’s chairman is looking for investors and may want to list the stock outside of Hong Kong.

“In order to attract more interest from international investors, we are considering a listing in the US,” Liu said yesterday. Lenovo can’t sell shares to mainland investors while maintaining its Hong Kong listing, Chairman Liu Chuanzhi said.
