IBM will manage the information technology assets as well as fleet and facilities inventory for the State of Georgia under the terms of a new contract.

The eight-month enterprise asset management project deal is worth some $2.9 million. IBM won the contract in a competitive bidding process.

IBM will also document the state’s surplus assets and inventory.

Software from MRO Software called the Maximo Enterprise Suite will be used as part of the process, IBM said.
