Interland, a provider of web hosting and development services, is changing its name to Web.com.

The change will take effect on March 20.

Interland acquired the company Web.com in December of last year.

Interand’s Nasdaq stock ticker symbol will change to WWWW from INLD on March 20 as well, the company said.

“The Web.com name embraces everything in a brand that offers web services to both small businesses and consumers,” said Jeff Stibel, president and chief executive officer of Interland. “From a business perspective, we feel the name change will enable powerful new marketing, business development and sales opportunities. While we intend to leverage the Interland name as it is well known within the technical community, we will focus on making Web.com the standard for creating a powerful web presence.”
