IBM Considered Acquiring JBoss, U.K. Publication Says

IBM considered buying Atlanta-based JBoss but chose another acquisition instead, a United Kingdom-based publication reported Monday.

Builder U.K. said Steve Mills, senior vice president and head of IBM’s software group, told it that IBM bought Gluecode, a small company focused on the Apache Geronimo project.

Oracle is rumored to be interested in acquiring JBoss, Builder U.K. said.
