Summus, a developer of mobile content and services, has a new name and web site.
Oasys (pronounced like oasis) Mobile is the new name for the publicly traded firm (OTCBB: SMMU). The company will have a new trading symbol in the near future, according to a spokesperson for Oasys.
The name change and new web site is part of a strategy Oasys has adopted in targeting younger users.
The web site allows users to store content in password-protected “lockers” in the event they change cell phones. Games, ringtones and wallpapers purchased from Oasys can be stored at the site.
