KANSAS CITY,Three Southeast students have received $15,000 grants from The Ewing Kauffman Foundation for further study into entrepreneurship.

Receiving the Kauffman Dissertation grants, and the subject of their work, were:

  • Amy Davis, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Sociology: “More than the Sums of Their Parts: Status, Teams, and Entrepreneurial Outcomes”

  • Henry Sauermann, Duke University, Fuqua School of Business: “Individual Incentives, Innovative Processes and Performance: A Comparison Between Startup And Established Firms”

  • Jifeng Yu, Georgia State University, Department of Managerial Sciences: “Network Effects on New Venture Internationalization”
