GREENSBORO,Revenues at RF Micro (Nasdaq: RFMD) surged to a record $208 million for the quarter ending Dec. 31.
The developer and manufacturer of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for wireless communications applications said sales surged 21 percent over the same quarter a year earlier and were up more than 17 percent from the previous quarter.
Earnings hit 7 cents a share.
The surge in revenue was a reflection in RFMD making market share gains in the sale of cellular products.
