Ira Flatow, a science correspondent for National Public Radio and an award-winning TV journalist, will be among the keynote speakers for Biotech 2006.
Flatow, the host of NPR’s “Talk of the Nation: Science Friday”, will speak on the second day of the conference. He also is author of “They All Laughed … From Light Bulbs to Lasers: The Fascinating Stories Behind the Great Inventions That Have Changed Our Lives”.
The event, which is being put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and the North Carolina Biosciences Organization, is set for May 22-23 in Winston-Salem.
