Blackbaud Acquires Competitor in Cash Deal Worth $6 Million

CHARLESTON,Blackbaud, a provider of software and services for nonprofit organizations, has acquired a competitor in a deal worth $6 million.

Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB) said Monday it had acquired the assets of Campagne Associates, which also provides software and services to nonprofits. Additional funds might be paid out over the next two years based on performance, Blackbaud said.

Blackbaud assists nonprofits in fund-raising and operations.
