WILMINGTON,AAIPharma is opening a new clinic in Research Triangle Park to help assist clients with drug research and development.
The company, which is in bankruptcy, said the clinic would be used for both new drug application and abbreviated new drug application programs.
AAIPharma also hired George Perentesis, a doctor with more than 20 years of experience, to lead its North American clinical operations. Hired to lead European clinical operations is Brian O’Keeffe, who also has more than 20 years of experience.
