BellSouth has added DeLand, FL, to its growing list of sites where it now offers high-speed wireless broadband Internet access.
Users utilize a desktop modem to access the BellSouth network, which utilizes licensed wireless spectrum to deliver data at up to 1.5 megabits per second.
The service is now available in Athens, GA; New Orleans; Gulfport and Biloxi MS; and Palatka, FL. BellSouth plans to add other cities throughout 2006.
